A pedestrian was struck by a car this morning on Industrial Road.
Just before 4:00 AM this morning, police were called to the scene of the accident on Industrial Road, near Rockwell Drive.
A white Honda Accord driven by Brandon Surber struck Sharyssa Dawn Nelson as Nelson attempted to cross the road. Nelson was transported to a Johnson City hospital with what the report referred to as a suspected major injury for treatment.
No other information was given at the time of the report.

The Police Department reported another pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle Friday night.
A blue Chrysler was traveling on East McKee Street near Lemming Street around 8:45 Friday evening. According to the report, the Chrysler was driven by Haley Hubbard, and struck Kristen Darnell who was walking along the roadway.
No other details were given, other than Darnell was taken to a Johnson City hospital with what was believed to be non-incapacitating injuries.
