A vehicle belonging to Enterprise in Greeneville was stolen about 2 AM Sunday from the renter on Whitehouse Road.
The complainant stated she rented a 2022 Dodge Challenger from Enterprise and was supposed to get help cleaning it before returning it Sunday morning. While in the house before getting ready to leave, the victim said she heard gravel coming from the driveway and saw the vehicle was taken and was backing out. She reportedly attempted to catch up to it but lost it near Jones Quarry Road. The vehicle was allegedly taken by a family member.
Deputies were called and got into a pursuit with a maroon Challenger headed outbound on Baileyton Road. The pursuit was terminated on the interstate near MM 31. The possible suspect, who was named in the report, could have possibly left the state heading up north. The 2-door Dodge’s plate is from TN with the tag BNC6141.
