Seven Brew Drive Thru Coffee has gotten started on their construction for the new coffee spot, located on the corner of Rufe Taylor Road, with the address of 3075 East Andrew Johnson Highway.
Randy Davenport, Planning Director for the Town of Greeneville, updated the Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission on projects in town including Seven Brew. He said the company should open by the beginning of the summer. The crew has moved at a quick pace since the developers first got the site plans approved. Seven Brew Drive Thru Coffee’s site plan was granted Preliminary and Final approval in January of 2024 with a plan to construct a 525 square foot building. More information can be found in a previous article.
While Seven Brew is moving along the Scooter’s Coffee project, located at the former Long John Silvers location on 1595 East Andrew Johnson Highway, should finally be complete in the next two weeks after work stopped for some time. Davenport said equipment is getting moved in and they have assured the planning department that they will open very soon.
The new KFC restaurant, which would be located on 3507 East Andrew Johnson Highway, is still waiting for approval from the Tennessee Department of Transportation to move forward on an entrance. The restaurant is replacing the KFC located 1735 EAJH, according to Davenport. The site plan shows the building is about 2,600 square feet with an entrance coming from the highway and a possible connection to Serral Drive.
Across the highway we have the new site for the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. Davenport said there were modifications necessary during the process of construction but that the restaurant is on its way to be complete and should be ready by fall or at least the end of the year.
