Steve Hall has filed a nominating petition for Alderman in the Town of Baileyton Municipal Election on August 1st, 2024.
Independent candidate Rebecca Anderson has filed a nominating petition for the State/Federal General Election to run for Office in the Tennessee House of Representatives District 5. Independent candidates will appear on the November 5, 2024, State and Federal General ballot, according to the Greene County Election Commission.

Former Mayor W. T. Daniels filed a nominating petition for the Town of Greeneville Municipal Election on August 1, 2024 and is running for the Mayor position.
Current Greeneville Mayor Cal Doty filed a nominating petition to run for the position of Mayor again.
Doug Debusk is running for re-election to his seat as Water Commissioner on the Greeneville Water Commission Board.
Tim Teague is running for re-election to his seat as Council Member in Ward 2.
Matt Hensley is also running for the Council Member seat in Ward 2.
State Representative David Hawk filed to run in the Tennessee House of Representatives District 5. He will be on the Republican ballot for the August 1 State Primary election.
