An outbuilding caught on fire Saturday after 3 AM on Keller Road in Afton.
The victim spoke with Greene County Sheriff’s and said she got up in the middle of the night and saw her outbuilding on fire. At some point during the incident she stated she heard a small boom.
The report states there was a drop cord near the structure that was used to run power to a battery charger. It also says the cord may have burst and that the end of the plug was burned. But according to the victim, there was no plug that was used with the intent to power a battery charger. No official cause of the fire or suspicious activity was stated in the report.
