Burglary was reported from a business on the 500 block of the Asheville Highway Sunday night.
According to the report, two individuals and a dog were seen on camera entering a Furniture Store. Items including a dresser, propane heater, carpet cleaners, and drills were taken from the back of the warehouse by the suspects, totaling more than $1,000.
When the complainant arrived on the scene she saw a female with a black Carhartt jacket carrying items from the store. The complainant confronted the suspect but the woman allegedly dropped the items and ran behind Wendy’s.
The suspects were reportedly able to get into the store through an unlocked door. The incident is under investigation.
