We understand it’s their job and we understand they get paid, but the work the Kiewit Construction team has done to not only get the Kinser Bridge up and ready, but doing so a month ahead of schedule has been nothing short of spectacular to watch and deserves mentioning a day ahead of the opening of the new bridge on Highway 107.
So the folks at Top Dog Hot Dog Stand and Creamy Cup took time out at lunch Wednesday to say thanks to the crew for their hard work and time away from their families.
At the construction site, the workers enjoyed a hot dog and ice cream lunch. Even the EPA crew on site doing final state inspections and the crew from the Chuckey Utility District working nearby on their supply line at the bridge were also invited to lunch.
So from Radio Greeneville to the Kiewit team , we send our thanks to you as well, and kudos to John, Lynette, Chan and those who helped make the day possible….well done!!!
