The 2023 GM Truck Fair, proudly presented by Discover Greeneville, TN, Harrison’s Rod & Custom, AMD: Auto Metal Direct, and United by Trucks, will rev into action on Saturday, October 7th, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Greeneville, Tennessee.
This family-friendly extravaganza not only highlights the town’s charm but also champions young talents with dreams of a career in the automotive restoration and customization industry. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Harrison’s Rod & Customs Scholarship Fund, supporting the educational pursuits of aspiring automotive enthusiasts.
Kick off the event weekend in style at the VIP event today, October 6th, hosted on the Garden Terrace of the General Morgan Inn at 6:30PM. This exclusive evening will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and an exciting live auction featuring various items donated by the event sponsors. Triple C and the Demon Railroad will be offering up entertainment for the evening on the Garden Terrace. Secure your tickets for this exclusive experience at just $50 each by contacting the Greene County Partnership.
The truck show hours will be from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 7th at the Fairgrounds. Truck registration is $45 and can be handled ahead of time or on site. The event is open to all GM trucks and SUVs up to 2014 models. Prizes will be given for the Harrison’s Rod & Customs 3 Wild Card Picks, the AMD 3 Picks and the top 20 overall. Spectator admission is $10 with kids under 12 free and can be purchased at the main fair gate. Event T-shirts will also be available for purchase for $25.
The GM Truck Fair isn’t just about admiring outstanding trucks; it’s about celebrating them. Show winners will be part of a parade from the Fairgrounds to West Depot Street and be on display for the GM Truck Show Afterparty, happening from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on October 7th. This spectacular afterparty is open to the public and will feature live music by The Well Dogs, an array of Food Trucks, and Rock City Taproom beer tent (cash only) to ensure a rocking good time. Best of all, this community event is free for everyone from the community to enjoy.
