Breaking and entering was reported from a home on the Horton Highway last week.
According to the Greene County Sheriff’s report, the owner saw someone on her camera at the home while out of town. A neighbor went to check and reportedly saw someone crawling through a window. She also stated the side door was wide open.
When officers arrived they noticed all windows were locked except one, where the suspect could have easily climbed in through. The report states it looked like someone was sleeping in the bed upstairs, medicine was knocked off a shelf, and many items were out of place, but didn’t seem like anything was stolen.
No suspects were named in the report.
