A barn at 57 Enchanted Lane was destroyed by fire on Saturday.
A resident of the property was mowing late Saturday afternoon and put it back in the barn when he was finished. He closed up the barn and started weed eating the property. The man ran out of gas, looked up, and saw smoke coming from the barn.
The barn, along with the mower, were destroyed. The fire appeared to have originated from the mower’s engine block, according to the report filed with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
