Greeneville Police were able to serve several Arrest Warrants over the weekend.
Around 2:00 AM this morning, Stephen Garcia of Midway, was located inside a garage on South McKee Street. Garcia was taken into custody by officers for an outstanding warrant of theft over $5000.

Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of East Andrew Johnson Highway just after 6:00 AM Saturday, for a report of a possible overdose.
When officers arrived, James Teaster of Sky Way Lane, was found in a parking lot, in his vehicle with a needle in his right hand. When Teaster regained consciousness, he was checked by EMS but refused transport. It was discovered Teaster had an active warrant for Failure to Appear and was taken into custody. A search also found a baggie with 2.4 grams of expected marijuana in the drivers door.

At 6:30 Saturday evening, Jackie Griffin of Jonesborough, was spotted on West Main, and taken into custody on a Domestic Assault Warrant.

Around 9:30 Saturday night, police were dispatched for a welfare check of a male standing outside at Thornwood Drive. Police spoke with the man, Gary Lane, and it was discovered he had active warrants in Greene County for first, second, and third Violation of Probation; and Failure to Appear. Lane was arrested and taken to the Detention Center.
