A motor vehicle theft was reported yesterday evening on Rocky Point in Midway.
The victim told the Greene County Sheriff’s Department that the residence had been messed with and ransacked several times. According to the report, on Sunday the victim went to check on the property and two vehicles belonging to her and her deceased mother were still parked at the property. She checked the property again yesterday evening and the two vehicles, a green 94 Toyota Camry and white 03 Nissan Sedan were missing.
Both vehicles were without insurance and estimated at $5,500. The victim believes the doors could have been unlocked but was sure there were no keys inside. No suspects were known at the time.
