A Greeneville man was arrested Monday with driving under the influence after he was found passed out in a vehicle on Victory Boulevard.
Deputies responded to Dollar General after 6 PM and found Marty Waddell passed out behind the wheel with the vehicle still running. A strong odor of alcohol was detected and the suspect reportedly had slurred speech when he woke up.
Field sobriety tests were conducted and Waddell performed poorly. A blood draw was requested but the suspect refused. A search warrant was obtained by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with DUI 1st and Violation Implied Consent.
