Police pulled over a Honda Saturday night at North Irish Street and the Baileyton Highway for having a headlight out.
Officers made contact with the driver, identified as Steven Bruce of Apple Street.
Bruce allegedly told officers he did not have insurance or a license. A check found Bruce to be a revoked driver. The stock of what appeared to be a shotgun was protruding from a cover in the back seat, at which point Bruce was asked to exit the vehicle.
K9 Officers alerted on the Honda and further investigation found Bruce to be in possession of spoons, baggies, a syringe with what is believed to be methamphetamine and a straw. Bruce was also found to be in possession of several pills, including 3 Xanax, 1.5 grams of marijuana, .5 grams of a white powder believed to be cocaine; and a 16 gauge Stevens Shotgun.
He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center without incident, charged with Simple Possession of Marijuana, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and several traffic offenses.
