A man was injured in an accident on Beech Creek Road, off of Van Hill road, on Sunday night.
The wreck occurred around 9:30 PM when a Nissan Frontier driven by 49-year-old Walter Miller attempted to negotiate a curve when the truck traveled off the left side of the road. the vehicle struck a wood building and a driverless Chevrolet Silverado.
Miller was transported by medical helicopter to the Johnson City Medical Center for treatment of reported serious injuries. The Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
