The Camp Creek Volunteer Fire Department was called out to a utility pole fire early this morning.
Volunteers were called to 3755 Sunnydale Road around 6:45 AM. Arcing wires from the strong winds caused the top of the power pole to catch fire.
Firefighters made sure that no embers blowing from the fire started any other fires while Greeneville Energy Authority extinguished the fire on the pole.
