According to the National Weather Service in Morristown, light freezing rain and/or a wintry mix is expected in the northern Plateau this morning.
Light snow is expected tonight, mainly before midnight in the higher elevations of the East Tennessee Mountains. Accumulation for either event will likely be light with minimal impacts.
Temperatures will start to drop below 20 tomorrow night, with temperatures getting back to semi-normal by Monday.
