A Greeneville man has been arrested in connection with the Tuesday morning armed robbery at Forrest Hills Corner Market.
Greeneville Police Wednesday took David M. Saylor of 408 Hillcrest Drive into custody on a charge of Aggravated Robbery. Police say just after 9 am Tuesday, Saylor drove his Honda CRV to the business which is about a minute away from his home. He entered wearing dark clothing, a full head/face mask, and gray utility gloves. Saylor pointed a shotgun at the store clerk Harivadan Patel and demanded money.

Saylor then took $180 and fled the scene. On Wednesday, a search warrant was executed at Saylors residence, a search which yielded a firearm along with other evidence related to the robbery.

Saylor is being held at the Greene County Detention Center awaiting his initial court appearance.
