A Midway man faces numerous charges after stealing a car…..twice.
The incident began around 11 o’clock Sunday night when authorities say 26 year old Brennan Joseph Love of Oakwood Road, driving at a high rate of speed, crashed the stolen car on Kiser Boulevard near the Kingsport Highway. He took the key and fled the scene. The vehicle was towed to A-1 Towing on the Kingsport Highway. Monday at around 1:25 am, authorities say Love broke into the A-1 property, drove the car through a side gate, causing heavy damage to the gate, then struck another vehicle on the Kingsport Highway. He then fled the scene and was captured a short time later near Baileyton.
Love, who already had a revoked license and a previous charge of driving on revoked, is now charged with driving on revoked second offense, two counts of leaving the scene of an accident, vandalism, criminal trespassing and theft of a motor vehicle.
