Joel Christian Bible

Joel Christian Bible, 14-month-old son of Tony and Heidi Bible of Midway, passed away Friday afternoon at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Joel made an impact on all who met him. His smile lit up hearts, and he leaves a legacy of pure love.

In addition to his parents, Joel is survived by seven siblings: Brody, Mack, Rachel, William, Knox, Gianna, and his twin, Isaac; grandmother, Kathy Bible; aunts and uncles, Heather and Sam Sparks, Holly and Michael Slon, Hannah and Brian Julian, Hope and Christopher McDonald, Helena Morgan, Ryan and Haley Vradenburgh, Rodger and Emily Vradenburgh, Hilary and John Berman, Richard and Shayla Vradenburgh, Robert Vradenburgh, Haley and Lance Hatfield, and Kristi and Steve Williams; and many cousins.

Joel was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Deborah Vradenburgh and Ronnie Bible.

The family wishes to thank Joel’s special nurses, Kristin, Macy, Brittany, Gracie, Faith, and all nurses and providers in the NICU at Johnson City Medical Center and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Bibles Chapel Baptist Church, 1280 Bibles Chapel Road, Midway. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM in Bibles Chapel Cemetery.
