A motor vehicle accident reported at 7:21 today on the 70 Truck Route resulted in injuries and snarled traffic while emergency personnel worked the accident scene.
The Greeneville Emergency and Rescue Squad, EMS, Greeneville Fire and Police responded to the accident near The Peaks of Greeneville apartment complex.
No other details were immediately available. The roadway was still partially blocked during the 8 o’clock hour while the investigation and clean up continued.
