Following a record turnout in the spring, Wings & Wheels—an aircraft display and cruise-in car show organized by the Greene County Partnership—will return to Greeneville Municipal Airport for a fall edition today from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
A wide variety of airplanes and vehicles will be on display. The U.S. Army and Navy are set to return, with the Army once again flying in a Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopter, while the Navy brings a Boeing P-8 Poseidon and Beechcraft T6-II trainer aircraft.
Admission is free for spectators, and plane rides in non-military aircraft will be offered for a fee. Car show registration is $15 at the gate. Food and drink vendors will include Easy Peasy Lemonade, Petros, and Chick-fil-A, while the Greeneville Flyboys will be on-site selling tickets and merchandise. Sweatshirts and Wings & Wheels car air fresheners will be available for purchase from the GCP.
