In addition to comments from State Representative David Hawk and A Girl & A Gun Facilitator Dani Durante last night, the Greene County Republican Party discussed several upcoming events.
GREENE COUNTY FAIR
Following participation with a float in the American Downtown parade on Saturday night, the group now turns its attention to a booth at the Greene County Fair later this month. Volunteers are needed to man the booth for two hour periods, either 5-7 pm or 7-9 pm Monday through Saturday. For more information or to sign up contact Sue Starnes. Those wishing to help decorate should meet at the fair booth on Sunday, July 20 at 2:00 pm.
GREENE COUNTY REPUBLICAN WOMEN
The next meeting of the Greene County Republican Women is this Thursday, July 10 at The Harvest at 12 Noon. The visit the meal is $15. District Public Defender Todd Estep will be the guest speaker.
SEPTEMBER BARBEQUE
In lieu of the September Republican Women’s luncheon meeting, a barbecue and hot dog supper will be held on September 11th from 5-7 pm at the Tusculum Pavilion behind Doak School.
AMERICA FIRST FEDERATED REPUBLICAN WOMEN OF GREENEVILLE
The next meeting is this coming Monday, July 14th with the meal at 5 and the meeting at 5:30 pm at the VFW Post 1990 on Harlan Street. The guest speaker will be CASA Executive Director Melanie Feathers.

Memberships are being accepted with a $25 donation to the party to support local Republicans in their election bids next year.
