A second person has died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle and pickup truck crash which happened October 29 at the intersection of East Andrew Johnson Highway and Justis Drive.
Around 6:00 PM October 29, a Harley-Davidson trike driven by 63-year-old Walter Moore, pulled out to turn left but was struck by an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado driven by 67-year-old Grover Mullins.
The passenger on the cycle, 62-year-old Janice Moore, was fatally injured. It has been confirmed that the driver of the trike, her husband, Reverand Walter Moore has died from his injuries, as well. Due to his passing, Janice Moore’s funeral has been postponed and there will be a double funeral at a later date.
Mullins was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt. Charges are pending according to the report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
