The Greeneville Energy Authority will meet this morning and will consider selecting an Interim President and CEO for the board.
Also on the agenda up for discussion are projects, expenditures, and purchases that need to be approved like equipment and items for Broadband including OFS fiber cable for mainline construction, Calix access equipment, and pole hardware for fiber optic cable.
Other purchases are fleet items including a backyard machine and the board will discuss bids for Right of Way items. There will be a discussion of the expiring GEA board term and consideration to approve the 2024-25 Budget.
Additionally, the board will discuss monthly reports from departments and miscellaneous items. The meeting will be held at the Greeneville Energy Authority Building on 110 North College Street at 9 AM in the GEA boardroom.
