The Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission will meet tomorrow and consider granting Preliminary and Final approval for a site plan of the Quick Stop Market located at 1806 West Main Street.
According to the agenda item, the site plan indicates a 2,642 square foot building with parking and gas pumps and two entrances provided. One will be from West Main Street (S.R. 321) with approval required from the Tennessee Department of Transportation and the other from Bird Circle.
The planning commission will also consider granting Preliminary and Final approval for a plat showing the subdivision of a parcel of land identified as the AVE Greeneville, LLC/KT Greeneville, LLLP property located at 600 West Andrew Johnson Highway. The plat creates two new parcels Lot No. 1 (1.66 acres) and Lot No. 2 (3.90 acres). The property is being developed as a Planet Fitness facility located on Lot 2 with a potential future building being constructed on Lot 1.
Other items on the agenda include consideration for Phase 2 of the Johnson Farms Development located at 389 North Rufe Taylor Road. Phase 2 includes lots 86-102. Phase 1 designated Lots 1-67. Approval is subject to a bond being posted for the completion of the sidewalk and final topcoat of asphalt.
The site plan and plats have been reviewed by planning staff and meet all zoning and subdivision requirements. The meeting will be held at 9:30 AM tomorrow in the Greeneville Energy Authority Building, in the G. Thomas Love Board Room located on 110 North College Street.
