Do you have an interest in Law Enforcement and ever wondered what it is like to be an officer for the Greeneville Police Department? The Greeneville Police Department will be accepting applications for their Auxiliary Police Officer Force through July 31, 2023.
Completed applications must be turned in before 4:30 PM on July 31, 2023. Applications can be picked up at the Police Department and can be found on the Town of Greeneville website, or below.

Requirements for the position are as follows:
1. Must be 21 years of age
2. Must not have any Felony Convictions or Misdemeanors that would be in contradiction with good Moral Character
3. Must complete an intense background check
4. Must complete a Physical Exam
5. Must complete a Psychological Exam
6. Must Complete a Work-Steps Assessment
If hired for a position, it is imperative to attend regular meetings/training sessions on the first Wednesday evening of each month and any other required trainings should be met by the officer.
The Auxiliary Police will comply with all rules and regulations. The Greeneville Police Department furnishes a uniform and all duty gear.
