On Saturday, Camp Creek Fire Department took delivery of hydraulic rescue tools that were donated to them from a department in Texas. The set was delivered by members of the Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department. Not only did they drive 18 hours to deliver, but spent most of Saturday hands on with members of Camp Creek showing how they operated.
The tools, mostly known as the Jaws of life, are used to free people trapped in auto accidents.
The donation was coordinated by a local organization called firefighters helping firefighters who help coordinate donations of equipment to departments in need. They are located in Greeneville, but reach all across the US.
