The four year long search for clues in the disappearance of Summer Wells led authorities to Greene County last week.
The TBI confirmed yesterday they were in the 3500 block of Van Hill Road in Greeneville last Thursday to follow up on a lead in the case. TBI however has released no information as to where that lead originated or the results of it.
Then five year old Summer Wells disappeared June 15, 2021 from her Beech Creek Road home in Hawkins County, about ten miles from the Van Hill Road location in Greene County.
An active AMBER Alert remains in place for the girl.
