The Tennessee Highway Patrol has yet to release any information on an accident Wednesday morning on I-81 in Greene County.
THP did confirm to Radio Greeneville News that accident near mile marker 36 involved a pedestrian and a hit and run vehicle.
First responders Wednesday reported the pedestrian was changing a tire when struck.
As the accident remains under investigation, THP says it can not release further information at this time. A preliminary report they tell us, will be issued as soon as possible.
