The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the mountainous areas of southeast Greene County.
The advisory will be in effect today from 5 am until 10 pm for the mountains and adjacent foothills. Winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour, with gusts up to 55 miles per hour are expected.
The remainder of Greene County will have wind gusts up to 20 mph today.
Rain is anticipated through the day today and into tonight. Showers are likely to continue Thursday before moving out of the area by late Thursday night.
Sunshine is in the forecast for Halloween activities on Friday, with a high in the mid 50s.
