A Greeneville woman who was stopped for a headlight that was out on her vehicle was arrested after she was found in possession of drugs.
An officer with the Greeneville Police Department stopped the car around 9:45 PM Sunday at the West Main Street and Nanci Lane intersection. The driver, Heather McDade of Charles Street, reportedly told police she had suboxone strips and cocaine in her purse.
A search of the vehicle produced two packs of suboxone strips, five grams of a white powdery substance identified as cocaine, a scale, a cut straw, and seven baggies.
McDade was transported to the Greene County Detention Center for possession of schedule 2 drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
