The Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission granted preliminary site plan approval Tuesday morning for construction of an Express Oil Change at 3400 East Andrew Johnson Highway. The currently vacant site is located between the Fast Pace Health Urgent Care and Ultimate Shine Car Wash.
FRONTAGE ROAD DISCUSSION
The planning staff is working with the developer to explore a shared entrance with adjoining property owners in the area from South Rufe Taylor Road to the Serral Drive intersection. Planning Administrator Justin Schooley says the much discussed frontage road would allow for safer access and traffic movement on East Andrew Johnson Highway.
COMMISSION BOARD REORGANIZATION
During reorganization of the board as required in September, Anita Ricker was named Chair, David Darante Vice-Chair, Paige Mengal Secretary and Ben Brooks Alternate Secretary.
