Areas of snow and ice are covering roads this morning.
Overnight snowfall between a dusting to two inches fell across
the mountains, plateau, and portions of northeast Tennessee and
southwest Virginia.
The National Weather Service Office advises be prepared for localized snow and ice covered roads this morning, especially secondary and rural roads, bridges, and overpasses. These untreated roads may be slick and hazardous. Rising temperatures and increasing sunshine will improve conditions by the afternoon.
It’s advised to slow down and use caution when traveling this morning.
