GREENEVILLE, TN – A special community health fair for senior adults will be held at the Roby Adult Center on Friday, Sept. 12, from 9 a.m.-noon.
The public is invited to attend the free event, which is now in its second year at the Roby, located at 203 N. College St., across from Town Hall.
“The community is encouraged to join us for a morning dedicated to health and well-being,” Nicole Rader, director of the Roby Center, said. “The Health Fair will feature valuable resources as well as opportunities to connect with regional health professionals.”
Rader started the free health fair in 2024 to promote healthier lifestyles for the Greeneville/Greene County aging population. “We are excited to bring this back as an annual event,” she said. “Our goal is to empower Roby members as well as our community with the information and tools they need to take charge of their health.”
More than 30 vendors will participate in the health fair, which includes giveaways and door prizes.
A listing of some participating vendors includes: Erwin Healthcare Center; American House Senior Living; Silver Angels; Durham-Hensley Health & Rehabilitation; Caris Healthcare; Alzheimer’s Tennessee; Brookdale Senior Living; Abundant Christian Living Community; ALPS Adult Day Services; Life Care Center of Greeneville; United Healthcare; Ballad Health; First Tennessee Area Agency on Aging & Disability (AAAD); Apex Bank; Encompass Health; Frontier Health; May Family Chiropractic; Town View Senior Living; Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network; SMILE ON 65+; 1Source Insurance Group; and the Greene County Anti-Drug Coalition.
