A Collins Road resident reported her dog went missing on Saturday and on Monday afternoon she found the dog was shot.
The dog is reportedly being treated at the East TN Veterinary Hospital. Two possible suspects were named in the report. According to the victim, the ranch working dog, an Anatolian Shepard, went missing on Saturday. The victim said due to the property being so large the dog wasn’t found until Monday.
The Greene County Sheriff’s report states the dog had a shot with an entry and exit wound. No suspects were confirmed.
