An attempt was made Saturday to pass forged prescriptions at a local pharmacy.
Coreley’s Pharmacy on Snapps Ferry Road reported the incident to Greeneville Police.
According to the report, a female came to the pharmacy around 2:00 PM Saturday and provided signed prescription fills, which were similar to another recent case that was reported. An employee at the pharmacy recognized the similarities and did not fill the prescriptions.
The female did not return to the store after leaving in a white Jeep Cherokee, but the investigation is continuing.
