Apparently debris cleanup around the Town of Greeneville isn’t going as quickly as some residents would like.
Greeneville Public Works Assistant Director Scott Keith says his department is moving toward getting back on schedule following spring and summer storms that have added to their work load.
Keith reports collections from April to June were up drastically for tonnage and number of trips to the landfill.
An example showed that in June of last year, 91 tons were collected compared to 357 tons this year.
