The Greeneville City Council today granted approval to the terms of the Greeneville Water Commission HEAL Loan Agreement.
The total $14.4 million dollars earmarked for the Water Commission will be paid as invoiced to Greene County, which is serving as the fiscal agent for the funds.
To date, Water Commission Superintendent Laura White says, just south of $4 million worth of invoices are ready to submit for reimbursement.
It’s expected funds should be available within seven days after requested.
