A total of 117 grams of Methamphetamine was located during a vehicle search on Saturday afternoon near Mason Street.
A traffic stop was initially attempted on Tusculum Boulevard due to the driver of a vehicle, Archie L. Everhart of Mohawk, possibly having a window tint darker than the legal limit. According to the report, Everhart did not stop when the traffic stop was initiated and was making a lot of movement in his car before pulling over.
The tint was confirmed to be 18%. A K-9 was requested to the scene that ended up giving a positive alert for Narcotics. One gram of heroin, approximately 8 Xanax pills, a bottle of synthetic urine, and a total of 117 grams of Meth were found, as well as several large baggies.
Everhart admitted all items belonged to him. He was arrested with several charges including Driving while in Possession of Meth, Drug Violations, and Falsification of Drug Test.
