A man was found by deputies lying in the road bleeding after reportedly escaping his burning home on Painter Road yesterday.
According to the report, there were explosions in the home and the victim had bled all over the house and on the road from a large cut on his arm. The victim said there were more people still trapped inside, and older woman and a child.
The Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the structure fire around 4 PM and searched the residence but did not find anyone else. The victim believes the two could have fled due to allegedly using Meth. The residence was searched for a possible lab but no cooks were found.
The fire seems to have started from some wiring that went into the freezer. A good Samaritan was checked for possible smoke inhalation but was not transported by EMS.
