A Midway family was able to escape their home without injury around 10:45 last night when fire broke out at the residence of Tony Bible.
A Sheriff’s Department report indicates units from the Midway Volunteer Fire Department were able to extinguish the fire, which began in the chimney area.
The fire, the report says, did not cause any damage to the inside of the residence.
