For three quarters, North Greene and Midway battled tooth and nail with a state tournament berth on the line. It was in the fourth quarter that the Huskies pulled away to take the 39-24 win over the Green Wave and make their 6th straight trip (10th overall) to Murfreesboro.
Hannah Miller , who was fronted and double-teamed all night, led the charge with 14 points and pulled down 7 rebounds. Ella Head contributed 7 points and freshman Josie Graham chipped in 6 very important points.
Their opponent in the opening round of the state tournament will be the same as their 2024 opponent, the Greenfield Jackets, who knocked off University High of Memphis 67-46. Game time will be 3:15 Eastern on Wednesday, March 12th.
