Greeneville City Board of Education will meet tonight and consider the purchase of a vehicle for the Family Resource Center.
The school receives ARP funds, which help them support homeless students through supplies, materials, transportation, food/hygiene items, services outside of school, and emergency housing. With the help of these funds, homeless students remain engaged in school related activities. This vehicle purchase will allow transportation to assist with parent and family engagement, including transportation to school events, meetings, and parent/teacher conferences, their homes or even health care facilities.
The board will also discuss budgets for School Nutrition, Extended School Programs, Federal Projects, and will review policy revisions for approval. Additionally, they will consider the purchase of Custodial Supplies and Equipment, Video Production Computer Systems, and Engineering Program Equipment.
The Greeneville City Board will have their meeting after the joint board meeting with Greene County Schools, which is set at 6 PM tonight at the Greene Technology Center.
