GREENE COUNTY DIRECTOR OF SCHOOLS

Thursday of this week is the deadline for applications for the new Director of the Greene County School System

That’s Greene County School Board Chair Rick Tipton.

Dr. Chris Malone begins his second full week on the job as Interim Director tomorrow. Malone told me last week he has officially submitted his application for the job.

AIDNET AND UNITED WAY EFFORTS TO ASSIST OTHERS

Outside of assisting locals get back in proper housing, another goal of the local AIDNET group is to help other area counties in their ongoing flood recovery assistance efforts.

Efforts to better coordinate traffic flow in the growing East Andrew Johnson Highway continue, including signal light installation near the Texas Roadhouse entrance.
