After a mostly cloudy Monday with highs in the mid 50s, more windy conditions are expected back in the area on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service Office in Morristown has issued a Wind Advisory from 1:00 am until 4:00 pm Tuesday for Southeast Greene County and other mountainous areas in East Tennessee.
South winds will be 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected in Southeast Greene , as well as the Blount Smoky Mountains, Cocke Smoky Mountains, Sevier Smoky Mountains and Southeast Monroe Counties.
Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
