A woman who lost her home to the flooding said that someone stole a utility trailer and other items from her property.
The victim said that a 6×8 utility trailer, a canoe and some garden hoses and mounts were taken from the property along the Old Asheville Highway. Total value of the items was listed at $1,720.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department investigated the theft.
