No serious injuries were reported in a three-vehicle wreck today on Erwin Highway.
A Honda HR-V driven by 51-year-old Angelica Morales Nava was traveling north and was yielding to traffic to turn left into the Farmers Daughter restaurant parking lot. A Hyundai driven by 18-year-old Kasper Dunbar struck the rear of Nava’s vehicle. Dunbar’s vehicle then began to rotate in a clockwise motion, which caused a southbound Mitsubishi driven by 63-year-old Danny Payne to become involved in the accident.
All vehicles came to an uncontrolled final rest in the middle of Erwin Highway. Dunbar went to a local hospital by private vehicle for a suspected minor injury. No other injuries were reported.
According to the report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, no charges have been filed.
