Power has been restored to all but around 300 customers in Greene County by Tuesday afternoon.
GEA President Dwayne Wells said that the last large areas of outages are due to the loss of lines crossing the Nolichuckey River. Wells said that crews had been able to pull a temporary line across the river and hoped to have those customers reconnected soon.
The largest areas without power are around Kinser Park, Viking Mountain Road, and around the Davy Crockett Birthplace State Park. Those account for about 75 of those customers.
