A Greeneville man was arrested for his 7th offense of driving on a revoked license after his vehicle was found sitting in the middle of the roadway around 2:00 this morning.
A Lieutenant with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, who was leaving a previous call, noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in the middle of the road at the intersection of Wilhoit Road and Painter Road. The driver then pulled into a private driveway.
A search of the vehicle was requested, but was denied. A K-9 was then brought in and had a positive hit on the vehicle. Multiple items of drug paraphernalia were found during a subsequent search.
The driver, identified as Jonathan Reynolds of Holly Creek Road, was discovered to have a revoked license. He was charged with driving on a revoked license 7th offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
